Has the first GTA 6 cast member been confirmed?

The actual GTA 6 cast list has remained a complete mystery for the longest time owing to Rockstar’s trademark secrecy. However, following the release of the GTA 6 trailer 2 and the official GTA 6 release date, we might have finally found the first confirmed member of the upcoming game’s roster.

The second game trailer gave us so much more than the first, providing us with greater insight into which GTA 6 characters are going to play a major role in the game, and what the overall storyline and Lucia and Jason‘s relationship is shaping up to be. During the opening scenes of the trailer, we were introduced to a character known as Brian Heder, a drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in Leonida.

The second Brian began demanding that Jason go out and collect some money that Brian was owed, I couldn’t help but feel I’d heard that voice somewhere else before. Fans were also quick to draw comparisons between Brian’s voice and Stephen Root, an American character actor credited with numerous film, television, and voice acting roles.

For me, Brian sounded uncannily similar to the bank teller from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, a role eternally seared into my brain with his iconic “Pan-shot!”

And, as it turns out, Stephen Root is, at the time of writing, credited on IMDb as Brian Heder! Whether this is confirmation or not is unclear as this wouldn’t be the first time someone was credited against GTA 6 only for it to be retracted further down the line.

However, given how similar the voice of Brian is to the bank teller, and Fuches from the show Barry, it seems very likely to us that Stephen Root is the first GTA 6 cast member to be confirmed (minus all the musicians who have been confirmed as involved with the project).
