GTA Online

GTA Online is the multiplayer format of the wildly successful GTA 5 base game, and contains a lot of content from GTA 5, previous entries in the GTA series, and exclusive Online-only items.

Unlike the singleplayer versions of GTA, GTA Online gets much more frequent updates in the form of GTA Online Weekly Updates, which provide players with a range of missions boosts for RP (reputation points) and GTA$, vehicle discounts, and new activities from time to time.

Subscribers of GTA+ (available only on consoles) also entitles Online players to additional goodies such as bonus cash, free vehicles, free cosmetics, and additional GTA$ and RP boosts on select missions.

GTA Online servers

In order to play GTA Online, you’ll need an internet connection, and you’ll need the GTA Online servers to be up and running. While it’s very rare for the servers to go down, scheduled maintenance or unexpected bugs can cause widespread downages.
