Leonida Department of Corrections

The Leonida Department of Corrections was one of the first GTA 6 locations to be officially confirmed, and was first seen in the first GTA 6 trailer in December 2024.

The Leonida Department of Corrections appears to be home, at least for a time, to Lucia, the main protagonist of Grand Theft Auto 6. It is unknown at this time when or why Lucia was incarcerated at this facility. Very little is seen of the prison during the trailer but for a brief shot of the security fence, an interior view to the yard through distorted glass, and two separate views of a parole officer’s office (Stefanie‘s office).

The most expansive view we have of the prison is seen over Lucia’s shoulder in one particular shot, showing a yard with tables, benches, a watchtower, and a large square building which could be the main cell holding area.

It is unclear where on the GTA 6 map the Leonida Department of Corrections sits, or if it will be a major location during the GTA 6 story, or part of a GTA 6 mission. For now, there is only speculation.
