Where is the GTA 6 trailer 2, Rockstar?

For the last year, fans have been chomping at the bit for the GTA 6 trailer 2. Yesterday was, by all accounts, the day that the second trailer would land. Unfortunately, the day came and went, a few updates came out of Rockstar for GTA Online, and no trailer other than a GTA Online trailer was to be seen. This begs the question, where is trailer 2?

It could well be that the second trailer will drop today, December 5, 2024. December 5, 2023 was the originally intended release date for the first trailer prior to the GTA 6 trailer leak which forced Rockstar to release the first trailer a day early. In effect, this would make today – December 5, 2024 – the one year milestone. If so, the second trailer could arrive as soon as 12pm EST, which would be welcome news for the many Redditors who have been begging to see more official footage.

If you visited the GTA 6 Reddit channel at any point in the past year, you’ll likely have seen fans desperately poring over the first GTA 6 trailer and every unrelated trailer that has been released since December 2023 for hints of the next trailer.

It’s a bit of an in-house joke that these GTA 6 Redditors who hunt for pixels or invent elaborate theories surrounding new content or release dates are hopped up on “Hopium” and “Copium” as starving themselves for any extra frame of detail. Fortunately, that dose of hopium and copium could at last be satiated today. However, I can’t help but feel that Rockstar might decide to release their second trailer tomorrow, just to watch the Reddit channel burn itself to the ground.

Or we could all be completely wrong and there won’t be a second trailer for months to come. I sincerely hope not, but that could be the hopium talking.

Let’s just rewatch the first trailer again until Rockstar puts us out of our misery. And then rewatch it again, and again, and again…
