Red Envelopes and Lunar New Year arrive in latest GTA Online Weekly Update

The latest GTA Online Weekly Update has landed in celebration of the Lunar New Year, so expect a ton of red and gold freebies, and a nice Red Envelope containing free GTA$. Fans who missed last week’s update can also get the Wooden Dragon Mask and other clothing items by logging in this week.

Free Lunar New Year gifts

You’ll need to act fast if you want to snag yourself some free GTA Online Weekly Update goodies in celebration of the Chinese New Year: the Year of the Dragon. Simply log into the game between February 8 and February 14, 2024, and you will be automatically gifted:

• 1 x Regal Dragon Mask
• 1 x Midnight Dragon Mask
• 1 x Wooden Dragon Mask (carried over from last week)
• 1 x Red Lunar New Year Dress (carried over from last week)
• 1 x Black Lunar New Year Tee (carried over from last week)

GTA Online Weekly Update free spin

Login to GTA Online this week to get a free spin on the Lucky Wheel at The Diamond Casino & Resort, and be in for a chance to win this week’s grand prize: a Truffade Adder (Super) with a custom paintjob of red and gold for the Lunar New Year.

Remember: the longer you spend in a mission, the more GTA$ you are rewarded, with the maximum reward being given at around the 15 minute mark. While this isn’t ordinarily a viable strategy to maximise your profits, the GTA weekly update bonuses makes this strategy incredibly lucrative (on a purely dollars/time metric).
