GTA 6 pre order
A GTA 6 pre order and its associated special editions could be much closer than you think thanks to the reveal of the official release date.

GTA 6 pre orders are sure to be the hot ticket item of the year in most gaming circles, but when will they go live, and what benefits will be included?
Just looking at previous Rockstar releases like prior Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto collector’s editions, we can make an educated guess.
When can I pre order GTA 6?
We predict that GTA 6 pre orders will be available from November 2025 at the earliest, with an intial GTA 6 price tag of $70 for standard editions of the game.
The announcement of a GTA 6 delay certainly pushed back our original estimates for when pre orders were due to go live, putting our new estimates for pre orders to become available as of late 2025 at the latest. Looking at historical patterns, gamers typically have anywhere between 5-8 months to pre order a Rockstar title, making November 2025 a safe bet for pre order availability.
As for pricing, it’s unlikely that a pre order will go for anything more than the standard AAA price tag of $70, though a few rumors have circulated online regarding the GTA 6 price being substantially higher and reaching as much as $300. Despite these rumors, nothing concrete suggests the game could ever reach such a high price (unless you want to count Shark Cards for a GTA Online experience, but that’s a very different kettle of sharks).
While pre orders are not yet available, you can wishlist GTA 6 via the PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, the game has yet to be listed on Steam, the Microsoft Store, or on similar vendors.
GTA 6 pre order bonuses
Considering previous Rockstar game pre orders, it seems likely that GTA 6 pre order bonuses could have:
- A SteelBook
- Several days of Early Access
- A physical copy of the GTA 6 map
- Bonus in-game clothes and weapons
- Bonus GTA$ and RP for the GTA 6 equivalent of GTA Online or for the current GTA Online experience
Our predictions for pre order bonuses are based on the what arrived alongside GTA 5. In the run-up to the GTA 5 release, numerous special editions were made available, and included the following goodies:
- An exclusive SteelBook
- A blueprint map of the in-game playable area
- A boost to the main playable character’s special abilities, making their respective abilities recharge 25% faster
- A series of stunt plane challenges
- Bonus character customization options
- Additional weapons, available for free at Ammunation shops, including the Pistol .50, a Bullpup Shotgun, and the Hammer melee weapon
The GTA 5 collector’s edition contained a few extra goodies, including a money bag (inspired by the in-game Heist missions), and several bonuses for the singleplayer campaign, and GTA Online.
However, it’s also been more than a decade since GTA 5’s 2013 release, so it is possible that Grand Theft Auto VI will benefit from numerous exclusive bonuses that other non-Rockstar pre orders have packaged into games, such as Early Access, a Season Pass (if Rockstar commit to DLC for GTA 6, unlike their scrapped GTA 5 DLC), and exclusive GTA 6 missions.
GTA 6 Early Access
It seems a foregone conclusion that a GTA 6 special edition pre order will provide a variety of free skins for weapons, vehicles, and possibly more. But, we believe that a pre order will also provide several days of exclusive access ahead of the proposed GTA 6 release date. This trend has been seen with a number of modern releases, including Starfield pre orders, and it’s unclear if Rockstar will resist this pattern.
Of course, what the pre order will contain in full, whether it will have Early Access, and when it will land has yet to be officially announced by Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive. Hopefully, in the coming months, more details will be revealed.
