Lucia

Lucia is one of the two main GTA 6 characters, and set to be the main playable character in GTA 6. Lucia is the female counterpart to Jason in GTA 6, and made her first appearance officially in the GTA 6 trailer.

As for what Lucia’s story will be, that is a greater mystery. Lucia’s appearance in the first and second trailer provided plenty of insight into the overall storyline. However, as the chronology of both trailers are unclear, it is difficult to determine what threats Lucia and her partner will face in GTA 6.

The second GTA 6 trailer, however, indicated that Lucia was arrested prior to the main game’s events and incarcerated at the Leonida Department of Corrections facility, which is where Jason collects her from in the trailer. She appears to be fitted with an ankle bracelet, and is shown to perform community service at numerous points.

From there, Lucia and Jason dive into a renewed life of crime with bigger stakes and bigger rewards.

“Lucia’s father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia’s learned her lesson — only smart moves from here.”

“More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City — but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands.”

Lucia is believed to be a 5’3 hispanic female frequently seen wearing hoop earings and a distinct bracelet on her right wrist. It is unclear if any of this jewellery has any emotional significance to Lucia, though she is seen wearing them frequently in both the first and second trailer.

One significant point of interest in Lucia’s design, particularly in the GTA 6 poster, is the inclusion of an ankle bracelet which was likely fitted to Lucia by the Leonida Correctional Facility following a period of incarceration for a minor crime.

The specifics of Lucia’s personality are as yet unclear. However, analyzing both existing trailers does imply that Lucia is quite the fighter, confident, and perhaps more of a leader than Jason is, taking the forward position when entering and exiting a store mid-robbery and when performing an armed heist while masked.

Fans and internet sleuths currently believe that Lucia is played by Manni L. Perez, citing that the actress’ performances in Law & Order, as well as comments made during several interviews, heavily imply that the actress is not only involved with GTA 6, but playing the main character.

A definitive answer is not likely to be announced until we get closer to the GTA 6 release date, given Rockstar’s infamously strict non-disclosure agreements.
