Lucia
Lucia is the female protagonist of Grand Theft Auto 6, and is believed to be a modern-day equivalent of Bonnie from Bonnie and Clyde.
Appears in Game | GTA 6 |
Lucia is one of the two main GTA 6 characters, and set to be the main playable character in GTA 6. Lucia is the female counterpart to Jason in GTA 6, and made her first appearance officially in the GTA 6 trailer.
As for what Lucia’s story will be, that is a greater mystery. Lucia’s appearance in the trailer did provide some insight into the overall storyline. However, as the chronology of the trailer is unclear, the trailer’s exact storyline is difficult to determine. It is currently believed that the GTA 6 story follows Lucia as she leaves the Leonida Correctional Facility, meets Jason, and becomes a more ambitious criminal.
However, the trailer does give us some insight into Lucia’s character, and the core issues she will be facing: trust.
“The only way we’re gonna get through this is by sticking together, being a team.”
Lucia description
Lucia is believed to be a 5’3 hispanic female frequently seen wearing hoop earings and a distinct bracelet on her right wrist. It is unclear if any of this jewellery has any emotional significance to Lucia.
One significant point of interest in Lucia’s design, particularly in the GTA 6 poster, is the inclusion of an ankle bracelet which was likely fitted to Lucia by the Leonida Correctional Facility following a period of incarceration.
Lucia personality
The specifics of Lucia’s personality are as yet unclear. However, analyzing the only existing trailer of the game does imply that Lucia is more of a leader than perhaps Jason is, taking the forward position when entering and exiting a store mid-robbery. Whether her position is more dominant than Jason’s or not is also unclear, but it is clear that Lucia places a lot of importance on trust for reasons that have yet to be revealed.
Lucia casting
Fans and internet sleuths currently believe that Lucia is played by Manni L. Perez, citing that the actress’ performances in Law & Order, as well as comments made during several interviews, heavily imply that the actress is not only involved with GTA 6, but playing the main character.
A definitive answer is not likely to be announced until we get closer to the GTA 6 release date, given Rockstar’s infamously strict non-disclosure agreements.
