GTA 6 achievements

In preparation for the GTA 6 release date, some may be wondering what GTA 6 achievements will be available at launch. Rockstar haven’t yet confirmed much about the game beyond what weapons, vehicles, and locations were gleaned from the GTA 6 trailer from December 2023. Not even the raft of major GTA 6 leaks which have plagued the game’s development have managed to shed much light on what Grand Theft Auto VI achievements there are to earn.

Will there be achievements in GTA 6?

GTA 6 will almost certainly have achievements for both Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game at launch. It would be extremely unusual for Rockstar to forgo trophies and achievements given that almost every major AAA release includes a gamerscore/award system.

How many achievements will there be?

We estimate that there will be 80 achievements in Grand Theft Auto 6. This estimate is based on previous games by Rockstar, including GTA 5 which had 77 achievements, and Red Dead Redemption 2 which had 51. It’s likely that GTA 6 will provide between 1000 and 2000 gamerscore depending on how many expansions Rockstar plan to release for GTA 6.

A full list of GTA 6 achievements has not yet been confirmed as the game is still in development. As such, it is unlikely that an official list will be revealed until the the game releases in 2025 (unless, of course, a GTA 6 leak beats Rockstar to the punch).
