ScHoolboy Q hints at his involvement in GTA 6

Another rapper has teased their inclusion and musical talents on one of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 6 radio stations.

ScHoolboy Q hints at his involvement in GTA 6

American rapper ScHoolboy Q has teased on Twitter (aka X) that he could be working on a GTA 6 radio station or song in Rockstar’s upcoming RPG.

GTA 6 cast members and musicians have been subject to considerable speculation by fans prior to and especially after the release of the official GTA 6 trailer in December 2023. Most of the GTA community have been reliant on GTA 6 leaks, deep-diving into what little footage exists of the game, and praying that someone somewhere will tease their involvement in Grand Theft Auto VI without breaking Rockstar’s famously strict NDAs.

In a tweet that went live on February 25, 2024, ScHoolboy Q highlighted that his album Oxymoron was celebrating its tenth anniversary. In response, a fan responded “As long as you drop some heat for GTA 6 radio we all Gucci.” To the surprise of many, ScHoolboy Q then posted quote “Ima be on tHere don’t even trip.”

While ScHoolboy Q’s tweet leaves much room for speculation as to how involved he is with GTA 6, it is quite likely that the rapper is working on one or several GTA 6 songs that will be available on an as yet unconfirmed radio station. Previously, ScHoolboy Q has worked on music for Rockstar games, collaborating with Ab-Soul on the song “Hunnid Stax” for the Radio Los Santos station in GTA 5, which you can enjoy below.

ScHoolboy Q is the second rapper to tease their involvement in GTA 6, following T-Pain’s own announcement back in January 2024. Unlike T-Pain, ScHoolboy Q has not given much comment on what his work with Rockstar involves, or if, like with T-Pain, he was forced to give up a hobby for the privilege. It’s quite possible that ScHoolboy Q will get an important character to play, but we likely won’t know more until we get closer to the GTA 6 release date.

Sadly, Rockstar have kept their lips tightly sealed about upcoming GTA 6 features, mini games, and story line. Hopefully, more will be revealed in the coming weeks, though we aren’t anticipating Rockstar to break their radio silence for quite some time. Should Rockstar tease their next GTA 6 trailer, or give a better idea of when a GTA 6 PC port might be available, you’ll get all the latest updates by following GTA-Db on Google News.
